Who can attend?
All are welcome, whether baptized or not and whether Anglican, another religion or just curious.

What happens during a St Francis, Lake Country Sunday service?
Our worship service begins with prayers, Bible readings, a sermon, and prayers for the world and those in any kind of need.  We then focus on the sharing of bread and wine, where all are welcome to the Table of the Lord.  Music is woven into the service.

Can we bring our children?
Absolutely, when children join us, we have a child-focused discussion before the sermon and crafts to keep little ones busy during the service.

What happens after the church service?
Everyone is invited to the church hall for coffee and light snacks; a soup lunch is served once a month between September and April.

What shall I wear?
Whatever makes you feel comfortable.  Many folks wear jeans or other casual clothes

What precautions are you taking for Covid and other health concerns?
We ask you to stay home when ill.  Most folks space themselves for comfort.  You are welcome to wear a mask.  Any physical contact is at your discretion.

When do you meet?
Sundays at 10am

Who makes those fabulous pies and how do I purchase them?
The church women, with help from some trusty men, make the pies with love and care.  They can be purchased after church on a Sunday or Anglican Church Women.

How can I arrange a visit from a priest or pastoral care visitor?
Call or email Reverend Jane Bourcet, Reverend Paul Martinson or the Home Pastoral Care Team

May I bring my dog?
Yes, as long as it is well behaved and leashed

Do you rent out your church and/or hall?
Yes, when the use doesn’t disrupt our worship and fellowship. (Email for hall rental inquiries or call 780-265-1654)

Is there a daycare onsite?
Yes, Bloom Academy operates Monday to Friday in the lower level of the church.
